The full specs and shocking placeholder price tag for the Xiaomi 12 Pro have been leaked onto Chinese social media ahead of launch. While many of the Xiaomi 12 Pro specs had already been leaked, the images in this leak seem to have come from an official product purchase page published by the company itself.
Several images containing details of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, including its full specs and color choices, have been leaked on Weibo and further shared by top-rate tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter. There is even a price tag on one of the images that states 9,999 yuan, which is roughly US$1,570 or €1,386. It’s very likely the price is a temporary one that was put in place while the product page was being tested, as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro started at the much more reasonable price tag of 4,999 yuan (US$785/€693).
The Xiaomi 12 Pro is shown in four different colors, which can be prosaically described as black, pastel blue, pastel green, and pink. The overall design of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is very similar to that of the Xiaomi 12, with even the camera housing looking identical. The Pro model is treated to a 50 MP Sony IMX707 sensor + 50 MP ultra-wide sensor + 50 MP telephoto lens for its camera equipment, and, of course, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The 6.73-inch 2K (3200×1440) AMOLED offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and there is also access to both UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM for fortunate buyers. A 4,600-mAh battery keeps the Xiaomi 12 Pro running and charging is offered at 120 W wired, 50 W wireless, or 10 W reverse. The 5G phone also delivers Wi-Fi 6 compatibility and comes in at a weight of around 205 g. Now fans will just have to wait for Xiaomi to reveal the actual price of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which will be launched on December 28.
